  • Looking for techniques for rendering this sheer embroidery fabric please

Good morning! I know sheers can be more challenging to render but I am looking for your techniques with this two toned fabric.
I will attach the picture of the actual fabric and my 1st attempt. ALL suggestions are most welcome. Thank you!!

I would do the transparent a little more so it will look a little more sheer. You need to see the window frame more

Hi, so I used a small picture from the top of the sheer to create the overall drapery panel then took a small detail from the dark bottom sheer to create the bottom of the sheer (I used a cafe curtain overlay). The dark bottom detail I tried lightening/making it a bit more transparent before I uploaded it. I appreciate assistance from both of you!

With a solid wall the same color as the drape it is just not going to show as shirr as it being in front of a window. if you move the drape over in front of the window you can see the difference. You will see more texture when the fullness is actually made up. This may be one of those you will have to use the drawing and then hold a piece of fabric up in front of the wall so they can see how it looks due to the wall being the same color.
