County Community Shelter Project by Wanda Horton

You may remember my mentioning Wanda Horton last fall as a "trendsetter-blogger" at High Point Market. This month I would like to direct your attention to a project that this talented designer undertook to benefit disadvantaged citizens in her area. She recruited many volunteers and generous sponsors to work together to completely revamp her county community shelter.



Wanda notes:

Sometimes surfaces become a little worn. People can feel that way, too. My mission was to help create a place for souls to be restored and hope to be renewed. While the staff and board have been able to provide the tools for a new life focus, I wanted to provide a different environment to support that message.
